Rare diseases drug developer Applied Therapeutics' APLT.O shares slump 35.5% to $0.14 premarket
Co said on Thursday UK-based Cycle Group will acquire all outstanding shares for $0.088 per share in cash, plus a contingent value right (CVR)
The offer represents a 60% of discount to APLT's last close of $0.22, though shareholders could receive additional payments (CVR) if specific future milestones are met
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026
Up to last close, stock down 74.7% YTD
