
TOKYO, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei share average rose slightly in early trading on Tuesday as the market found its feet following the previous day's sharp decline.
The Nikkei .N225 gained 0.2% to 49,407.63 in the first few minutes of trade. It tumbled 1.9% on Monday, breaking below the psychological barrier of 50,000.
The broader Topix .TOPX added 0.1% to 3,342.12.
