Wall Street's main indexes rose on Monday, on the back of gains from tech stocks and mega-caps such as Alphabet, as growing bets on a Federal Reserve rate cut in December fueled risk-taking. .N

At 1:30 p.m. EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.64% at 46,545.15. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.57% at 6,706.34, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 2.58% at 22,846.71.
