American Airlines AAL.O lost 1.4% before the opening bell, Delta Air DAL.N retreated 1.1% and United Airlines UAL.O declined 1.5% in premarket trade after the Trump administration ordered flight reductions at major airports due to a shortage of air traffic controllers during the longest government shutdown in history.
