
TOKYO, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei share average fell on Friday as heavyweight tech stocks tracked a decline in U.S. peers overnight.
The tech-heavy Nikkei .N225 slid 1.3% to 50,209.13.
The broader Topix .TOPX lost 0.5% to 3,298.34.
Startup investor SoftBank Group 9984.T dropped 7.5%, while chip-testing equipment maker Advantest 6857.T slumped 6.1%, making them the top two decliners on the Nikkei in index-point terms.
