The asset gatherer posted higher than expected third quarter profits, with revenues bucking expectations for a decline from a year earlier. The group said on Wednesday net income for the July-September period totalled 162.7 million euros ($190 million), above a Visible Alpha analyst consensus of 154 million euros.

In authorising construction tycoon Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone to hold more than 10% of the Tuscan bank, the ECB has classed it as a financial investor, which prevents Caltagirone from exercising influence over the bank, MF reported. The same conditions apply to MPS' leading shareholder Delfin, preventing the two investors from submitting a slate of candidates to elect a majority of new board members in 2026.

Argentina's YPF YPFDm.BA and the Italian energy group have reached an agreement with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company's XRG investment arm for it to join a liquefied natural gas project linked to Argentina's Vaca Muerta field, YPF said on Tuesday.

The electrochemical group raised its margin guidance for the full year after posting a 15.9% increase in its adjusted core profit in the first nine months of 2025.
FERRARI RACE.MI
The luxury sports carmaker posted a better-than-expected 5% increase in third-quarter core earnings on Tuesday, with pricier models in its SF90 XX and 12Cilindri family helping to offset the impact of U.S. import tariffs.
Ferrari has trimmed price increases on some of the models it sells in the U.S. to a maximum of 5% following a deal to reduce the import tariff on European products, a spokesman told Reuters.
