RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN inched lower versus the U.S. dollar at 88.7075, after U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled a new round of tariffs, including a 100% duty on any branded or patented pharmaceutical products. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN063335G=CC was quoted at 98.77 rupees, with the yield up slightly at 6.5031%, as markets awaited fresh debt supply, with investor demand at the auction seen shaping sentiment for the fiscal second half. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC dipped marginally to 5.45%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC inched up to 5.7275%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 5.60% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 5.51%.
