UK Stocks-Factors to watch on September 23

Sept 23 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.10%.

MAGNUM: Unilever's ULVR.L Magnum ice cream business, set to publicly list in November, plans to use Chilean start-up NotCo's artificial intelligence to reformulate products and create new ones.

UK-US ON CRYPTO COOPERATION: The governments of Britain and the United States will set up a body to reduce red tape for firms seeking to access capital markets on both sides of the Atlantic and improve cooperation on crypto assets, Britain's finance ministry said on Monday.

SHELL: The Malaysian Court of Appeal has overturned a High Court injunction that allowed Shell MDS (Malaysia) to halt its monthly gas payments to national energy firm Petronas from August 2024, local media reported on Monday.

GSK: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced approval of leucovorin, a form of folic acid that U.S. President Donald Trump was slated to suggest as a treatment for autism symptoms at a White House event on Monday. GSK GSK.L previously manufactured leucovorin and sold it under the name Wellcovorin.

BURBERRY: Burberry BRBY.L presented hippie-inspired crochet dresses, fringed jackets, and tailored suits in acid green, yellow and pink on Monday, drawing on counterculture fashions from the British music scene for its spring/summer 2026 collection.

COMMODITIES: Oil prices declined for a fifth consecutive session on Tuesday, gold prices steadied after reaching a record high, and copper dipped slightly after a two-day rise.

FTSE: The UK blue-chip index .FTSE was up 0.11% on Monday, as gains in mining shares helped offset losses in automakers, while investors awaited key economic data and comments from U.S. Federal Reserve officials.
