Sept 18 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Thursday, a day after the Bank of Canada and the U.S. Federal Reserve reduced rates by a quarter point and left the door open for further cuts this year.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), Toronto's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 0.2% to 29,353.20 points.
