Sept 16 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.1%.
* JAGUAR LAND ROVER: British luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover said that it has extended its current pause in production until September 24, following a disruption from a cybersecurity incident disclosed earlier this month.
* UNILEVER: Unilever ULVR.L has named Srinivas Phatak as its new finance chief, saying the board was unanimous in its decision after Phatak "performed strongly" in the role on an interim basis earlier this year.
* ANGLO AMERICAN: Anglo American AAL.L and Chilean state-run copper giant Codelco [RIC:RIC:COBRE.UL] said they have finalised an agreement to jointly operate their neighbouring Chilean mines, aiming to unlock at least $5 billion in value.
* STHREE: Recruiter SThree STEMS.L projected subdued hiring activity to persist into fiscal year 2026 and also forecast its annual pre-tax profit well below market expectations.
* MJ GLEESON: British homebuilder MJ Gleeson GLEG.L said it has entered the new fiscal year with a strong forward order book after reporting a 17.3% drop in annual profit on higher build costs and a slower housing market recovery.
* CMA: Britain’s competition regulator said it was seeking comments on the impact on UK competition from student accommodation developer Unite Group's proposed 634 million pound ($864 million) acquisition of Empiric Student Property ESP.L.
* JOBS: Britain's jobs market has lost more steam, according to official data, with employment falling for a seventh month in row and wage growth slowing.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices edged up, gold prices scaled a record peak, and copper futures prices in Shanghai hit a more than five-month high on Tuesday.
