Stocks of U.S. health insurers rose in morning trading following comments by the Centene CNC.N CEO that Medicaid results for July and August support an improved trajectory for the back half of the year
Centene also said in a filing that its financial results through August are consistent with its full-year adj. profit forecast of about $1.75 per share, lifting the company's shares 12%
Shares of Molina Healthcare MOH.N rise 6%, Elevance ELV.N up 2.5%
Including session move, CNC down 42%, MOH down 34%, ELV down 14.7% YTD
