Sept 10 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Wednesday, tracking the gains in Wall Street peers, after cooler-than-expected U.S. producer inflation data boosted bets on a September interest-rate cut by the Federal Reserve.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.18% at 29,115.27 points.
