** President Trump says co to go back to its old logo, following its ongoing efforts to revamp its brand

** The restaurant company, last Tuesday, unveiled a new logo, prompting criticism from conservatives, including Donald Trump Jr., as well as posters on Reddit and other social media sites

** Shares fell as much as 13% by midday last Thursday, before closing 7% lower on the day, with about four million shares changing hands that day, compared to a daily average of about a million shares, wiping out most of the dining chain's YTD stock price gains

** Short interest in the stock was 22.6% of outstanding shares available for trading, according to LSEG data

** Including session's move, stock has risen 7.4% YTD
