Shares of power equipment maker GE Vernova GEV.N rise 2.1% to $617.31
Swedish utility Vattenfall selects GEV and Britain's Rolls-Royce SMR RR.L to supply a series of small modular nuclear reactors
Vattenfall plans to order either five BWRX-300 reactors from GE Vernova or three Rolls-Royce small modular reactors, which will be built in their existing Ringhals plant in southwest Sweden to provide a total output of around 1,500 megawatts
