Aug 11 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened flat on Monday as investors avoided making big bets, awaiting upcoming U.S.-Russia talks, trade turmoil and pivotal U.S. inflation data later in the week.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.04% at 27,770.57 points.
