The Indian rupee INR=IN was steady versus the U.S. dollar at 87.7100, showing limited reaction to U.S. President Donald Trump's additional tariffs on Indian goods, which traders said was largely expected and factored in. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN063335G=CC was quoted at 99.495 rupees, with the yield down over 1 basis point at 6.4008%, recovering from the last session's sharp sell-off triggered by the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) status quo on rates, while traders remained cautious amid lingering global trade concerns.
