July 18 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened muted on Friday, boosted by energy shares, as investors assessed domestic trade updates.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was flat at 27,392.48 points.
