** Shares of British investment holding company Ocean Wilsons Holdings OCN.L advance as much as 6.8% to a record high of 1,575 pence

** Stock among top gainers on FTSE mid-cap index .FTMC

** Hansa Investment Company HAN.L to possibly acquire co in an all-share combination

** Under terms, OCN shareholders to receive voting and non-voting shares in Hansa

** "The combination could bring scale and liquidity, lower fees, and on-market share buyback of 2-4% of share capital each year," Peel Hunt analysts say
