US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-S&P 500, Nasdaq open near record levels after May inflation data

June 11 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and Nasdaq opened near record levels on Wednesday, as a cooler-than-expected inflation report calmed concerns around tariff-driven price pressures and fanned expectations for interest rate cuts.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI rose 16.0 points, or 0.04%, at the open to 42,882.86. The S&P 500 .SPX rose 10.6 points, or 0.18%, at the open to 6,049.38, while the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC rose 64.4 points, or 0.33%, to 19,779.355 at the opening bell.
