UniCredit is expected to win European Union antitrust approval for its Banco BPM takeover bid after offering to sell 206 branches to ease competition concerns, people with direct knowledge of the matter said on Tuesday.
PRYSMIAN PRY.MI
The world's largest cable maker will revise guidance on July 31 including Channell's contribution, it said on Tuesday, as it completed the acquisition of the U.S. connectivity device manufacturer for $950 million.
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
Stellantis has expanded its voluntary redundancy scheme for Italy, affecting almost 700 workers at two plants in the south of the country, the carmaker said on Tuesday, bringing to almost 2,500 the planned workforce reduction this year.
TECHNOPROBE TPRO.MI
(*) Leading shareholder T-Plus, the holding of the Crippa family, has completed the placement of 10 million ordinary shares, equal to 1.53% of the capital, at a price of 7 euros per share. The holding had announced on Tuesday the sale of up to 16.3 million shares, equal to a 2.5% stake, through an accelerated bookbuilding procedure.
MEDIA
Italy's advertising spending grew 2.2% in April, research agency Nielsen said on Tuesday.
