CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher after US jobs data, trade optimism

June 6 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Friday, mirroring Wall Street gains, as a better-than-expected U.S. jobs report and signs of easing trade tensions between Washington and China fueled investor optimism.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.4% at 26,458.61 points.
