Shares of U.S. utility Constellation Energy CEG.O rise 11.9% to $350.73 premarket

Meta META.O says it has agreed with CEG to keep one of its utility's reactors in Illinois operating for 20 years through 2047

The deal allows CEG to expand its nuclear plant, the Clinton Clean Energy Center, which has a capacity of 1,121 megawatts, by 30 megawatts

CEG is also evaluating strategies to extend Clinton plant's existing early site permit

As of last close, CEG up 40.1% YTD
