
May 2 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Friday, as signs of potential easing in U.S.-China trade tensions and a stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs report boosted investor sentiment.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.88% at 25,014.68 points.
