
April 22 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Tuesday, recovering from previous session's steep decline, but investor sentiment remains cautious following U.S. President Donald Trump's recent attacks on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 1% at 24,247.56 points.
