Shares in German automakers rise in early Frankfurt trade after U.S. President Donald Trump suggested he might grant exemptions on auto-related tariffs Trump said car companies "need a little bit of time because they're going to make 'em here" BMW BMWG.DE, Porsche Automobil Holding SE PSHG_p.DE, Mercedes-Benz MBGn.DE, Volkswagen VOWG_p.DE and Porsche AG P911_p.DE are up between 2.6% and 4% Auto parts maker and supplier Continental CONG.DE and German truckmaker Daimler Truck DTGGe.DE rise 1.2% and 1.7%, respectively
