Vietnam stocks fall 5.3% after U.S. tariff announcement

HANOI, April 3 (Reuters) - Vietnam's benchmark stock index .VNI fell 5.3% in early trade on Thursday to 1,247, hours after the Trump administration said Vietnam would be hit with a U.S. tariff rate of 46% as it announced a global round of tariffs.
