SHELL: Shell SHEL.L increased its shareholder distribution policy with a focus on share buybacks and lowered its spending outlook.
SHELL CEO PAY: The pay package for Shell SHEL.L Chief Executive Wael Sawan was 8.6 million pounds ($11.10 million)for 2024 compared with 7.9 million pounds in the previous year, Shell's annual report showed.
KINGFISHER: Kingfisher KGF.L reported a fall in annual profit.
BELLWAY: Bellway BWY.L posted a rise in half-year profit.
PWC: Financial Reporting Council said it has imposed a sanction of 4.5 million pounds on PwC.
SMITHS: Smiths Group SMIN.L reported a 9.5% jump in first-half profit.
TULLOW OIL: Tullow Oil TLW.L swung to an annual profit, largely helped by a reduction in impairments and asset revaluation gains.
DRAX: Drax Group DRX.L said it reached an agreement over possible acquisition of Harmony Energy Income Trust HEIT.L for about 199.9 million pounds.
FEVERTREE: Fevertree Drinks FEVR.L reported annual profit a touch above market expectations.
A.G. BARR: A.G. Barr BAG.L said that it intends to discontinue its bottled water brand Strathmore at the end of FY2026
FCA: Financial Conduct Authority is weighing changes to disclosure rules on mortgages, lending and savings products.
*L&G: Nomura has struck a deal with Legal & General LGEN.L to build homes in Britain's rental housing market.
REEVES: British finance minister Rachel Reeves will publish a forecast from the Office for Budget, which is expected to roughly halve Britain's expected growth in 2025, the Financial Times reported.
COMMODITIES: Oil prices barely moved, Gold edged up and Copper prices in London edged higher.
