Broadband and cable services provider WideOpenWest's WOW.N shares rise 2.6% to $5
Group including DigitalBridge DBRG.N and Crestview Partners is attempting to clinch a deal to acquire WOW, Reuters reports
Talks between the bidding group and WOW have progressed in recent weeks; a deal could come together in the coming weeks
The two sides are yet to agree on all the terms and it's possible that no deal will be signed
The latest offer price could not be learned
WOW received a non-binding offer worth about $406 million from DigitalBridge and Crestview in May
As of last close, WOW has fallen 2% YTD
