
March 21 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Friday, led by falling mining stocks, on worries over implications of trade tariffs on economic growth even as the index was set for a weekly advance.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 0.34% at 24,973.82.
