EUROPEAN EQUITY VOLATILITY AT ONE-WEEK LOW
It's a bit quieter out there this morning, and the euro STOXX equity volatility .V2TX index is back at 21.5, elevated by recent standards, but it's lowest in a week as a result.
The Stoxx 600 is just about in positive territory, though Germany is underperforming with the Dax .GDAXI down 0.6% as an 8.5% fall by Daimler Truck DTGGe.DE is partly to blame.
Not much drama elsewhere really, sector wise healthcare is doing the best, .SXDP up 0.9%, while auto firms are struggling down 1.2% .SXAP.
