CEASEFIRE VIBES BOOST BANKS AND BUILDERS
European equities rose on Wednesday with ceasefire vibes cheering the mood after several days of declines on concerns over the impact of trade tensions on growth.
The STOXX 600 was up 0.8%, on course to snap four consecutive sessions of losses. The DAX in Frankfurt was up 1.3%, while in London, the FTSE 100 added 0.45%.
Banks .SX7P and builders .SXOP benefited the most from news the U.S. would restore support to Ukraine after Kyiv agreed to accept a U.S. ceasefire proposal. They both rose over 1%.
