EU chip stocks fall on Nvidia results and Trump's threat for tariffs

** European chip stocks hit by Nvidia's NVDA.O Q4 report and US threat of 25% tariffs on chips and other EU products

** STMicroelectronics STMPA.PA, BE Semiconductor BESI.AS and chip gear maker ASMI ASMI.AS fall between 1.8% and 3%

** Swiss sensor maker ams OSRAM AMS.S, French chip materials supplier Soitec SOIT.PA and German chipmaker Infineon IFXGn.DE fall around 1.3%

** While NVDA's Q4 results beat estimates, its sequential growth is slowing from "high, unsustainable levels" and Wall Street does not like that, says mwb-research analyst Abed Jarad

** Adds US President Donald Trump's tariff threat raises concerns, especially for auto and industrial-based chipmakers due to impact of higher near-term costs
