RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.1% versus the U.S. dollar to 86.64, boosted by the drop in the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields after economic data fuelled worries over the U.S. growth outlook. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN067934G=CC was quoted at 100.60 rupees, with the yield down marginally at 6.7029%, tracking the fall in U.S. yields. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was down 2 basis points at 6.28%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC dropped 4 bps to 6.04%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 6.40%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.20%.
