- STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was down 0.26% at 75,939.21, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 index .NSEI declined 0.44% to 22,929.25, as investors fretted over the implications of U.S. President Donald Trump's plans to impose reciprocal tariffs, which analysts said could hurt the country the most among its Asian peers. .BO

RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.1% versus the U.S. dollar to 86.8225, mirroring gains in most regional currencies on relief that U.S. President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariff plan will not be implemented immediately. INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN067934G=CC was quoted at 100.57 rupees, with the yield little changed at 6.7071%, as the weekly debt auction, which included the benchmark paper, came in largely along expected lines. IN/

OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was down over 2 bps at 6.3%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC dropped over 4 bps to 6.0925%.

CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 5.80% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.25%.
