The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was up 0.23% to 76,313, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 .NSEI advanced 0.18% to 23,072, after U.S. President Donald Trump said the Indian Prime Minister offered to talk about lowering tariffs, easing some worries over reciprocal duties. .BO

RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.05% versus the U.S. dollar to 86.85 to dollar, tracking an uptick in its Asian peers on relief that U.S. President Donald Trump reciprocal tariff's plan will not be implemented till later. INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN067934G=CC was quoted at 100.62 rupees, with the yield down 1 bp at 6.7004% as traders await debt supply through weekly auction. IN/

OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was not yet traded, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC dropped 4 bps to 6.10%.

CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 6.45%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.34%
