CIFR late Thursday announced a $50 mln investment from Japan's SoftBank Group 9984.T
SoftBank will purchase about 10.4 mln shares of CIFR for $50 mln
The investment will support CIFR's data center development business
Keefe, Bruyette, & Woods and Latham & Watkins advised CIFR
CIFR stock climbed 12.4% in 2024
