- Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Friday, with futures FFIc1 up/down 0.09%.

NHS: Britain's National Health Service (NHS) will provide a cutting-edge gene therapy from Vertex Pharmaceuticals VRTX.O and CRISPR Therapeutics CRSP.BN that aims to cure sickle cell disease.
