Sk Hynix shares open down 11% on AI chip concerns

- Shares in South Korea's SK Hynix tumbled 10.9% at Friday's opening with stocks in the semiconductor maker hit by a slide in the U.S. Artificial Intelligence sector on concerns about the impact a low-cost Chinese AI model DeepSeek.

Hynix is a major supplier of high-end AI chips for U.S. giant Nvidia.
