STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was down 1.08% at 75,366.17, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 index .NSEI declined 1.14% to 22,829.15, as a swathe of lacklustre earnings reports fuelled fears that a slowdown in corporate profits would continue. .BO

RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN dropped 0.16% versus the U.S. dollar to 86.3425, weighed down by a drop in the Chinese yuan amid concerns over U.S. President Donald Trump's trade tariffs and on likely equity outflows. INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN067934G=CC was quoted at 100.7625 rupees, with the yield down 4 bps at 6.68%, as surprise bond purchases by the central bank boosted investor sentiment. IN/

OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was down over 2 basis points at 6.335%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC dropped 6 bps to 6.0675%.

CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 6.25% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.27%.
