STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN closed 0.43% lower to 76,190.46, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 index .NSEI declined 0.49% to 23,092.2. The indexes slipped to weekly losses for the third consecutive time on deepening concerns over corporate earnings moderation. .BO

RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.3% versus the U.S. dollar to 86.2050, and posted its first weekly rise in twelve weeks, helped by relief in the Asian forex space over U.S. President Donald Trump not levying tariffs immediately on taking office. INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN067934G=CC was quoted at 100.4625 rupees, with the yield up 1 bp to 6.7224%, as strong investor demand lifted sentiment. IN/

OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC fell 4 bps to 6.3675%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC dropped nearly 4 bps to 6.1375%.

CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 5.85% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.60%.
