Europe's STOXX 600 hits record high

LONDON, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Europe's benchmark STOXX 600 .STOXX rose to a record high in early trading on Wednesday.
A 0833 GMT, the index was up 0.6% at an all-time high of 528.97, surpassing its previous record hit in September.
The index has added 4.2% so far in 2025.
Investors have been active buyers of European equities in recent weeks, as valuations have tumbled related to the United States and many have sought an alternative to Wall Street's expensive megacap-heavy market. Bank of America on Tuesday said fund managers their second largest allocation to European stocks in a quarter of a century in January.
