CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower amid uncertainty over Trump policies

Jan 21 (Reuters) - Canada's main index opened lower on Tuesday, as falling energy shares overshadowed gains in technology stocks, while uncertainties over U.S. President Donald Trump's trade policies kept investors on edge.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1431 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 0.1% at 25,147.58.
