BUZZ-PREVIEW: J.B. Hunt shares dip ahead of results due after the bell

Shares of J.B. Hunt Transport Services JBHT.O are slightly lower in afternoon trading on Thurs, with the transportation and logistics co expected to post a decline in rev when it releases qtrly results after the closing bell

Analysts expect the co to post Q4 rev of $3.15 bln vs $3.30 bln in the yr-ago qtr, and adj EPS of $1.61 vs $1.47 a yr ago, according to LSEG

This week, Bernstein raised its PT on the stock to $190 from $186 and BofA raised its PT to $206 from $195, while Stifel lowered its PT to $161 from $167

The median PT on the stock is $199, based on LSEG data. The stock was last at $185.87

Analyst recommendations on the stock include 16 "strong buy" or "buy" ratings, seven "hold" ratings and one "sell"

JBHT's stock is up ~9% YTD vs a 0.7% gain in the Nasdaq .IXIC. Stock lost nearly 15% in 2024

Co has current market cap of about $19 bln
