Jan 13 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Monday, led by losses in technology stocks, as last week's robust U.S. jobs data dashed expectations of the U.S. Federal Reserve cutting interest rates this year.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1431 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 0.86%, or 211.95 points, at 24,555.78 points.
