EUROPE BEFORE THE BELL: FUTURES TICK UP AT END OF HOLIDAY-DISRUPTED WEEK
European equity futures are modestly higher in early Friday trading after the Christmas holiday, with just three trading days left in 2024.
Euro STOXX 50 futures STXEc1 are up 0.2%. Futures on the CAC FCEc1 and DAX FDXc1 are up a similar amount, while FTSE FFIc1 futures are flat.
Market-moving news has been thin, while there's no major data releases until U.S. trade figures at 1330 GMT.
For the week, the Euro STOXX 50 .STOXX50E is little changed, while the broader STOXX 600 .STOXX has so far eked out a 0.3% gain and is on track for its first positive week in three.
