
Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil&Gas and Personal&Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 6.20% or 49.00 points to trade at 839.50 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 4.03% or 435.00 points to end at 11,235.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 3.84% or 400.00 points to 10,830.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which added 0.56% or 2.40 points to trade at 432.10 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.76% or 5.80 points to end at 768.90 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) gained 0.90% or 6.80 points to 761.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 37 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.90% or 0.62 to $69.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.87% or 0.63 to hit $73.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 5.30 to trade at $2,754.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 104.10.
