Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 3.85%
Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal&Household Goods and Oil&Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 3.85% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 1.68% or 7.20 points to trade at 435.00 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) added 1.50% or 6.80 points to end at 459.40 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.32% or 0.50 points to 157.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which lost 5.37% or 48.20 points to trade at 850.00 in late trade. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 4.35% or 12.20 points to end at 268.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) shed 3.10% or 28.50 points to 889.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 44 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.07% or 0.05 to $71.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $74.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 22.45 to trade at $2,637.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.70, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 100.71.
