UK PM has full confidence in health minister Streeting, Downing Street says

LONDON, May 13 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has full confidence in his health minister Wes Streeting, Starmer's spokesperson said on Wednesday, after reports that Streeting was planning to resign and force a leadership contest.

Asked if Streeting told Starmer he would resign at a brief meeting earlier on Wednesday, Starmer's spokesperson told reporters: "I'm not going to get into the content of internal meetings, but the prime minister has full confidence in the health secretary."
