BOJ says no meeting held between Governor Ueda, US Treasury's Bessent

TOKYO, May 13 (Reuters) - The Bank of Japan said on Wednesday there was no meeting held between U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and BOJ Governor Kazuo Ueda during the secretary's visit in Tokyo.
Markets have been focusing on whether Bessent, who made a three-day visit to Tokyo until Wednesday, would meet Ueda to discuss monetary policy.
