South Korea’s Lee discusses critical minerals with Bessent, backs US-China talks in meeting with He Lifeng

SEOUL, May 13 (Reuters) - South Korean President Lee Jae Myung discussed supply chains and critical minerals with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent during their meeting on Wednesday, the presidential Blue House said.
Lee also told Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng in a separate meeting that Seoul would support dialogue between the United States and China, the office said.
North Korea was not discussed in either meeting, spokesperson Kang Yu-jung said.
